Cable winder – clean spooling up to 500 mm
Freshly cut cable, wire, strand and hose is bundled by the Evotec cable winder under motor power into compact, dispatch-ready winds. Steady pulling torque, spools up to 500 mm in diameter at 20 kg, operational on the 230 V mains. Built in Arnsberg.

Why the Cable winder?
Freshly cut cable gathers loose and tangles in the warehouse. At that point the cable winder takes charge: from the cut-to-length machine it draws the material off taut and lays it into compact bundles on a spool or core that pack and dispatch.
Why the Cable winder?
Motor winding under pull
Cable, wire and strand are guided onto the spool by the high-pull drive with a steady pulling torque. Each single turn is cinched tight by the sprung dancer arm.
Building bundles up to 20 kg
Sizeable winds are mastered too, up to a 500 mm outer dimension and 20 kg. Out come compact bundles that survive transport and storage unharmed.
Operational at once on 230 V
The full control sits inside, fed straight from the 230 V mains. With no cabinet in between, the machine runs at the cut-to-length station on the first try.
Coupled to the cutting pace
From the cut-to-length machine or test bench it takes over the cut material seamlessly. Stepless 0 to 100 percent and a reversible running direction align it to your pace.
Direct supply plus custom builds
You source the machine directly from Evotec. Coiling, bundles, differing cores and the equipment hook-up arise as needed.
Endurance-proof on cable lines
For sustained running on cable and hose lines the aluminium profile is ruggedly laid out. The machine is built at Evotec GmbH in Arnsberg.

Drive plus a sprung dancer arm
Cable and hose are drawn onto the core evenly by the motor drive. The growing wind circumference is offset by the sprung dancer arm, which preserves a steady pulling torque throughout.
- Steady pulling torque for taut, shape-firm bundles
- Stepless 0 to 100 percent control adapted to the cutting pace
- Reversible running direction for left- and right-hand winds
- Full control integrated, operational with no cabinet
Where the cable winder is used
Take-off from the cutting machine
Cut cable and strand the machine takes off taut directly behind the cut-to-length machine and forms firm bundles for handover.
Dispatch-ready bundles
Wire and hose run on into transportable bundles that pack, ship and store without tangling.
Rings as needed
On wish, rings and bundles arise from cable or strand for immediate further processing in assembly.
Take-off at the test bench
At the test and measuring bench the machine takes over tested cable and lays it layer-true into storage- and dispatch-ready winds.
Tautening strand and wire
Via the sprung dancer arm the machine holds thin strand and stiff wire taut, so bundles arise free of slack loops.
Running spools up to 20 kg
Large cable winds up to a 500 mm spool dimension and 20 kg it builds via steady pulling torque and a stiff aluminium profile.

Bespoke machine building, coiling, equipment hook-up
To suit your material and dispatch brief we retool the machine. Coiling, bundle sizes and slotting into existing cutting lines we carry out as needed.
- Coiling and fixed bundles as needed
- Core mount beyond the 76 mm standard
- Slotting behind a cut-to-length machine or measuring bench
- Bespoke production for cable, wire, strand and hose
