Cable winder: common questions
Key questions about the Cable winder – spools, wire and line integration.
Which materials does the cable winder run?
Cable, wire, strand and hose. Thin as well as stiff material is held taut by the sprung dancer arm and laid down layer-true.
Can the machine couple to a cut-to-length machine?
Yes. Slotted immediately behind the cut-to-length machine, it takes the cut cable off. You align pace and running direction to the cycle.
How heavy do the cable bundles get?
Up to a 500 mm spool dimension and 20 kg. With that the machine builds large, transportable bundles with no extra drive.
Can rings or bundles be formed?
Yes, coiling and bundles we carry out as needed, so the material can be packed or processed straight away.
Which core is used?
As standard a 76 mm core. Differing spool and core mounts we build as a special version as needed.
Can the running direction be reversed?
Yes. You reverse the running direction at choice and set the pace steplessly from 0 to 100 percent, for left- and right-hand winds.
How is the cable winder connected?
Operational on the 230 V mains with built-in control. Lay in the spool, clamp the cable start, start, with no further installation.
Are custom machines for our cable production possible?
Yes. As the maker in Arnsberg we build special measurements, bespoke machine building and slotting into existing assembly lines as needed.
